OverviewFellowship Riding Lessons are for those horse-lovers who want to increase in their horsemanship abilities and in their knowledge of the Word of God. This is a 2 hour, once a week, program that will challenge both the beginning as well as the seasoned horse rider. One hour consists of a riding lesson given by one of our CHA certified instructors to help develop and refine your horsemanship skills. The other hour is spent learning more about Christian principles from the Bible.
Dates: Starting March 9,10,11 - May 4,5,6 (runs for 7 weeks)
Cost: $150 (pay in full by 2/15 for $140!)

8+ for Fellowship Rides

Subdivided Class Level Descriptions
Level 1A: First-time riders--start, stop, steer, circle/reverse as a group. First trot.
Level 1B: Warm-up exercises, posting trot, 2-point, improved position.
Level 1C: Rate control of the trot, 2-point/standing position at the trot, trot circles, intro. to diagonals.
Level 2A: Group trot, trot poles, use of directional legs, improving transitions.
Level 2B: First lope/canter, basic use of bending aids, barrel/pole bending patterns. English: 1st jump.
Level 2C: Feeling diagonals, controlling lope/canter, group trot circles/reverses. Turns on the forehand. English: improving jumping position and control.
Level 3: Coordination of aids, advanced control and feel. English: continued jumping, cross rails and first vertical.
