 On May 14, 2009 at 2:30 PM, our Canyonview Ministries founder, Dr. Ernest R. Campbell went home to be with the Lord.
At 93, he was where he wanted to be, dying in his own home with his wife at his side. Dr. Campbell, or Ernie as he preferred to be called, was the founder of the ministries of Bible Teaching, Inc. These ministries include: Biblion College; Canyonview Press; Canyonview Camp; Canyonview Equestrian Center; and Canyonview Equestrian College. In each of these ministries, Ernie’s goal was that the Word of God, the Bible, would be taught accurately in love. He wanted to reach those who were far from God with the message of God’s grace and build up in grace those who know Him and His Son, Christ Jesus. He believed in the power of the Bible and God’s ability to use His Word to transform the lives of men and women, as well as the lives of boys and girls, for eternity.
